The Senior Center has recently been beautifully remodeled to meet the standards of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) of 1990. It is now safer, easier to maintain, and more welcoming than ever—with a new ceiling, modern lighting, fresh flooring, updated bathrooms, lightweight tables and chairs, fresh paint, and even a brand-new kitchen!

How did all these improvements happen? Through the generosity and hard work of our community and the Board over the last 2 years, donations of time, money, and items (like lights and tables), membership fees, fundraisers, memorial gifts, and grants that were applied for and received. Every detail has a story, and together they’ve transformed the Center into something truly special — a real “Cinderella” makeover.   Please know that we are on our own, neither the city, county or Federal government helps our Senior Citizen center.
